The Junction: The Junction is the annual literary zine, published in the Spring. It is comprised of student submitted poetry, prose and artwork and is compiled by the interns in the English Majors Counseling Office. BC Vanguard: Named after the original Brooklyn College student newspaper, The BC Vanguard is the newest newspaper on campus. This publication is the result of the merging of The Excelsior and The Kingsman. Follow them on Instagram.
Broeklundian: This is the official yearbook of Brooklyn College. The yearbook uses photography, writing, and design to capture student affairs, organizations, and campus events to be remembered for the years to come. Brooklyn News Service: At Brooklyn News Service, student journalists from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York cover the news of New York City, Brooklyn-style. Stuck in the Library: Stuck in the Library aims to facilitate a space where creativity can flourish. A main focus of the magazine is to get those whose careers don’t point in the direction of literature involved in the world of writing and creativity. They can do so through getting poetry, short stories, and other works recognized through magazines published quarterly. Nightcall: Night Call is the official newspaper of the students of the School of General Studies, published in 0401 James Hall, Brooklyn College, 2900 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11210. With a staff of over 40 dedicated columnists and editors, Night Call prides itself in publishing quality content in various topics such as politics, current events, campus news, and of course, sports. Letters to the editor are welcomed and encouraged. Letters should contain the writer’s name and email address, and should be sent via email to nightcallnews@gmail.com.
