Man’s obsession with death is as the atheist’s obsession with God.

It is almost as if man believes the only way to prove one’s life even existed is to die.

The purpose of this blog is not to make me sound like a philosophical nut on the contraire, to illuminate.

Think about it, how many people do you know are constantly trying to disprove the fact that God doesn’t exist. It’s like do you have anything else to talk about? They become obsessed with trying to disprove this and eventually the conversation will inevitably go into death and the after life or the lack thereof.

YOLO

This phrase or acronym became popular around the 2012 era and the topic of conversation became centered around living one’s life to the fullest. However, what does that mean for many people?

For many people, living your life to the fullest, is doing whatever one desires in their present consciousness despite the consequences. Even if the consequences may be death. YOLO

So you wanna do drugs? YOLO

You wanna drink and then drive home after the party? YOLO

You wanna ride on top of the train? YOLO

At the moment, depending on one’s present consciousness these things may not seem serious, it’s just having fun. We young and turnt. Young wild and free. YOLO

However, imagine dying within that present circumstance and consciousness. Dying just because you only live once. Dying because putting yourself in dangerous situations was fun to you during that present perspective. That perspective could never change after that and you died with it.

Your life will be commemorated with perhaps some tears from your family, maybe some anger, or  media coverage because your recklessness took the life of someone else who didn’t subscribe to YOLO.

But hey it doesn’t matter right? Because life is over and you’re dead and removed from the world permanently. I mean that’s what many people believe. Once you’re dead you’re done and Game Over for you. Problem is, no one has ever been able to come back and prove that to us or disprove that to us which is why many people spend their entire lives debating and arguing over it. Their entire life becomes obsessive and codependent on the mysteries of death.
