With thousands of games at this generation’s fingertips, it can feel nearly impossible to select just one that has stolen our hearts. That was until the release of Hogwarts Legacy! While we don’t support J.K Rowling, the Wizarding World that captivated generations is back!

Unlike other Harry Potter games, the freedom to move about, create, and explore seems to be the factor that has stuck out most to players. There is a decent variety of character customizations and a storyline that is just open enough for players to go about their gameplay in their own unique way while still maintaining that original Hogwarts charm. Much like in the books, players can listen to the paintings talk (or ignore them and their advice), and interact with a vast variety of characters. There’s classes and duels and just enough scandal in the plot to thrill players as they go about their playing. Without spoiling this great new game, players should know to expect both familiarity with the stories and an entirely new story that comes through their own creation and gameplay.
