Writing is like driving, but not just driving. It is the type of driving without direction – the one where your imagination is in the driver’s seat and lets you travel without any worries, concerns, and doubts. You are the kid listening to a story unfold or the time traveler awaiting a new world. You are present yet not – the process of writing drives you into another dimension.

Free from chains that bound you to reality, we begin to write. We write about love, fears for the future, the world, business pitches, abstract poetry pieces, lyrics for moving songs – we write and continue to write. As we type or write, the letters appear one after another forming a word, and words create sentences – representing fragments of our thoughts, as we share parts of our soul. We transform ideas and imagination into a being on paper. We give life to pieces that make people laugh, cry, emotional, love, fear, joyous, and really any other emotion you can think of.

So, I encourage you to write. Every single day. Hop into the car in your mind and traverse into a different world. Let your imagination take you to places located in the corners of your mind or in the deepest parts of your soul. Just write and see where it takes you. Just do not write while driving.
