With the Women’s NCAA tournament wrapping up yesterday, it got me thinking about how this tournament is treated so different from that of the men’s tournament, which is wrapping up tonight.

The whole fiasco with the weight rooms was just the tip of the iceberg with the mistreatment of women throughout the season. Women need to be treated better in the sports world and also in the academic world. We all need to be better so that we can overcome these issues together.
