WELCOME BACK
I don’t know about all of you but this Spring break has flew right on by and I’m not sure where to. Though more rested than before the world events weigh heavy on my chest all the while the work left for the semester adding to the pressure. Nonetheless, it is still too early to panic! We are all in the same boat and rock as it may we will reach the beautiful shorelines of our respected destinations. Please continue to push through because it will happen- we will succeed! For now, please enjoy this short poem, I wrote after some scattered thoughts, below.
Jana Taoube ツ
orphans Do you think her pretty and stylish and great? Do you see her tears that flood the night? Do you hear her cry and scream at fate? riots and chariots glamor and rein Do you think her intimidating? Do you think her mean? Do you see the food she handfeeds the orphans? intimate satin and silk bedsheets ecstasy and pain Did you see his insecurities? His child all the same bearing? He tends to his beard better than his name; did you know his game? & think before you speak tomorrow Yesterday and the future are all the same.
