The Bachelor is one of those shows that I would never watch except for the fact that my girlfriend begs me to every Monday. However, once you start watching it you realize how ridiculous of a concept the show actually is. One man actively dating a plethora of women just makes no sense to me, but the thing that really grinds my gears is the clear intrusion of the producers making decisions while trying to pass it off as things happening “naturally.”

This week, my example of this is when a woman from a previous season showed up at the resort that the show is taking place on, begging to meet this season’s bachelor. My first problem with this is, how can you just show up at a recording of a season thinking that you will be allowed on? Secondly, with COVID-19 the bachelor and contestants were quarantined in order to stop the spread, so how can this woman just show up to a quarantined set (with no mask when she steps out of the car), expecting to be let in. Finally, I cannot understand how the producers think that the audience is that unaware, because in reality if this wasn’t set up that woman would have been escorted away from the resort, and would have never been able to speak with the host, let alone be recorded with great video and sound. I know people love this show and others like it, but I cannot get past the ridiculousness of the events that just occurred in this week’s episode.
Sorry for venting, but I feel like I can’t be the only one who feels this way, so please let me know if you agree because I know I’m not crazy!

OMG I agree 100%! Just started watching the Bachelor a few weeks ago and I keep coming back because it’s so outrageous.
