Late last year, to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the German nonprofit The Wall Against Walls sent President Trump a 2.7-ton, 12-foot-tall section of it. They inscribed a letter from the people of Berlin into the concrete. See the photo below. The Secret Service rejected delivery of the gift, and it toured the country until being installed in its current home in Los Angeles.

Although other very important issues have been in the spotlight lately, problems with immigration in the U.S. must still be addressed. I have written a very short poem on the subject. Most importantly, you can do something: VOTE!

Walls

Despite the call,
"Tear down this wall,"
That once came from her mouth,

America
Builds heartlessly
A wall upon her south.
