Welcome back, beautiful people!
I hope that you all gobbled until you wobbled, had some heart to heart conversations with your loved ones, and reflected back on everything that you are thankful for. It is important to mention that Thanksgiving is not the only day we should express our gratitude for the things that we may take for granted. Each and every day is a good day to reflect back on the things that we are grateful for.
For instance, you should be thankful for your hands because without those, you wouldn’t be able to pet cute cats or dogs. Don’t forget to express your gratitude for those Starbucks baristas who put the perfect amount of caramel in your lattes. Also, remember to be thankful for the smallest things in life like great music, good books, blooming flowers, freshly fallen snow, chocolate, pumpkin pie, sunshine, and Pinterest recipes. And never forget to be grateful for the fact that you have a roof over your head, good food in your tummy, and clothes on your back.
Last but not least, be thankful that it is Monday. Yes, Monday— the day that is dreaded the most by the human race. Mondays are not all that bad. Mondays mark the beginning of a brand new week and a fresh start, so take a deep breath and start anew. Another reason why Mondays are not all that bad is that so many great things happen on Mondays!! Puppies are born on Mondays, babies take their first steps on Mondays, delicious pies are made on Mondays, people get accepted into their dream schools on Mondays, people get engaged on Mondays, and the list goes on and on. So, Mondays are not so bad after all right?
Woah that’s a lot of gratitude to take in.
Well anyways, now it is time for some announcements!
