Hello Monday!

Look at you! You’ve made it through a whole week—you go champion! Whether you’ve had a stressful week filled with nerve-wracking midterms or a week filled with waves of relaxation, you’ve made it to Monday! Woohoo! Now I know, we all dread Mondays. However, according to statistics, over 360,000 babies will say hello to the world for the first time today, over 5,000 couples will get married today, people will give over 42 MILLION hugs today, and the words “I love you” will be said over 9 MILLION times. Now if you ask me, that sounds like a pretty good day!

With that being said, let’s make it not only an amazing day but an amazing week! I have a challenge for ALL of you this week. Let’s fill our week with lots of kindness. Hold the door for the person behind you, buy your friend a cup of coffee, smile at strangers, genuinely compliment someone, randomly text someone and tell them how wonderful you think they are, just take a little time out of your day to make someone’s day better. Never underestimate the impact of your act of kindness because you never know how much someone really needs it. In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind.
