It’s Monday. The end of my fun, relaxing weekend. Back to the daily grind of attending classes, completing assignments, going to work, and everything else that fills my busy, seemingly endless week.
That was pretty bleak, wasn’t it? Allow me to start over.
It’s Monday. Today is the start of a brand new week. Just think of all you can accomplish in just one week. And now’s your chance to start. Thank Gosh it’s Monday.
Having a positive attitude will literally change any situation into a positive one. Trust me, it works. But you are the only one that can make this change for yourself.
You could be like Spongebob or you could be like Squidward. It’s entirely up to you.

English major award deadline has been moved to Friday, March 8. Submit your work at the English Department, 2308 Boylan.
The English Majors’ Counseling Office will be hosting their Open Mic on Thursday, March 14. This will take place at the Woody Tanger Auditorium from 12:30-2:00pm. You definitely don’t want to miss out.
The Magner Career Center offers stipend for unpaid career-related experiences, including internships, volunteer work, student teaching and more. Be sure to take advantage of this amazing offer. Deadline to apply for summer and fall 2019 is Sunday, March 17.
“The Value of a Humanities Degree” panel will be happening on March 19, on 11 am, in the Woody Tanger room of the library. Go and find out how to make the most out of your education.
Job/Internship Fair with more than 100 recruiters will take place on March 22, from 11:30am -2:30pm, at SUBO. To help prepare, the Magner Career Center is offering events on how to bring you’re a game. These will be happening both on Wednesday, March 20, in 1309 James, from 5:30-7:00pm and on Thursday, March 21, in the BC library room 411, from 12:30-2:00pm.
The Magner Career Center is continuously offering events to help prepare you for life after college, and as much as we all don’t want to think about that, these events are extremely helpful in planning out your future career. Find out more about them here.
