It’s been another week! Welcome back to the Boylan Blog, where the inters of the English Major’s Counseling Office come together to bring you some quality reading. It’s been tough this week through the snow storms and freezing rain. It seems like all of nature is involved in some sort of plot to make you want to climb back into bed and forego the 9 AM class that you promised yourself you’d never miss. Don’t feel too bad about it though, we’re all in the same boat just trying to get to the distant shores of graduation (though not a too distant shore for this writer, a fact that sparks equal amounts of joy and dread). During this semester make sure to take some time for yourself. There’s only so much work that can be accomplished while sleep deprived or socially isolated. Do some things that make you happy. See some friends, check out that art exhibit you’ve been thinking about, or maybe just take some time to read that book you’ve been slowly making your way through. Whatever it is that relaxes you and charges your emotional batteries, try your best to take some time out of your schedule to do it. Your body and mind will thank you.
