Hello Fellow Students!
Another week and another Boylan Blog. We’re like a clock except we take summers and winters off. Then again, judging by my sleep schedule in the summer, my clock takes a vacation right along with me.
No matter, the semester is almost coming to a close, and with it plenty of assignments are going to be due. Plenty of tests are going to be taken, and plenty of us will find ourselves facing the sort of existential dread that only severe inebriation and test season can cause. As a senior that is just about to graduate I suggest you invest your time into making a Google Calendar.
If you have a million and one things on your plate, tracking them so that you know exactly when you can slack off and watch some Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
I truly hope everyone’s Thanksgivings were great by the way. I know mine was pretty good. Sometimes, it really takes a day off too realize just how badly you needed a day off. Then again, I know some people worked during Thanksgiving, and to those poor souls…well, I suppose I am grateful.
Without further ado, let’s get into a few announcements.
- Temple University is offering Podiatric Medicine Internships from January 6-9 as well as June 7-14 in 2019. You can inquire at tuspmadm@temple.edu! Check out their flyer here
- In celebration of the 50 year anniversary of the first Black Woman’s election to Congress (Shirley Chisholm), there will be a roundtable discussing the state of Black Women’s politics at the Woody Tanger Auditorium, this Tuesday at 2:30-3:30! Check the flyer out
- On a totally different note, GMB’s Got Talent at the Student Center from 6:30-9:00! It sounds like a load of fun.
