WELCOME TO THE BOYLAN BLOG!!!

Brooklyn College’s world-famous Boylan Blog is back and better than ever. We promise, we’ll get to the good stuff soon, but first, some announcements:
Writer’s Circle is officially up and running again! Whether you’re a seasoned regular or a fresh-off-the high-school-boat newbie, you’re welcome at Writer’s Circle! We are knowledge-packed and judgment-free, so be sure to stop on by every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30pm-2:00pm in 2307 Boylan!

Be sure to read up about the Brooklyn College English Department Awards and Scholarships! Each spring, the English Department awards undergraduate and graduate Awards and Scholarships in recognition of your significant achievement in all areas of English Studies. There are far too many awards to list them all here, so be sure to stop by The English Majors’ Counseling Office to pick up an information pamphlet!

The Women’s Center is hosting an event called “I Like Doing It (Right)” on Tuesday, February 13th, from 12:30-2:30 in 227 New Ingersoll. The workshop will discuss healthy relationships, consent, and communication skills.
The Bryant Park Reading Room presents Winter Poetry at Kinokuniya Bookstore (1073 Ave. of the Americas, NYC) on Tuesday, February 20th at 6:00pm.

And finally, HAVE YOU SUBMITTED TO THE JUNCTION YET? NO!?

It’s not too late! The English Majors’ Counseling Office is still accepting submissions for the Spring 2018 Junction. Submit your short fiction, poetry, or 2-D art to bczinesubmissions@gmail.com!
That’s all, folks! Have a great week!
