Rabbi Michael Lerner is a psychotherapist, American political activist, editor of Tikkun magazine (a progressive Jewish and interfaith magazine), the rabbi of Beyt Tikkun Synagogue in Berkeley, California, and the author of the books The Left Hand of God: Taking Back America from the Religious Right, and with Cornel West, of Jews & Blacks: Let the Healing Begin.
