Good day, beautiful readers! I hope you all are having a very wonderful, relaxing, and productive spring break – and even though spring break is coming to an end, that’s a sign we’re another step closer to finishing the semester!

Since registration is right around the corner, it’s always a good idea to start planning out your course schedule for next semester and start adding classes to the shopping cart, so that all you have to do is enroll when the registration becomes available – and if you have questions about course permission, academic advisement, credit evaluation, or anything, come visit us at 3416 Boylan Hall! We are beyond thrilled to see and accommodate each of you!

Also, on the 25^th of April, the Magner Center will be hosting a CUNY Leadership Mentor Luncheon, where Brooklyn College students are invited and will have an opportunity to speak with professionals in their areas of interests to gain advice and valuable resources.  For more information, please contact Zavi Gunn at Zgunn@brooklyn.cuny.edu.

Equally important is that the Institute of Reading Development is seeking applicants with an undergraduate degree or higher from any discipline for summer 2017 teaching positions, where they provide a paid training program and comprehensive on-going support. They are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong reading skills, read for pleasure, are responsible and hardworking, have good communication and organizational skills, and will be patient and supportive with students – and if that sounds like you, please apply here.

By the way, talented writers, the Writer’s Circle hosts writing workshops every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 PM in 2307 Boylan Hall, so feel free to drop by to release some of that creative muscles! The more the merrier!
