As we move past midterm season, I hope you are all remembering to take care of yourselves and drinking something other than coffee – may I suggest water?

Submissions to The Junction are officially closed as of March 24th, thank you to those who submitted! You will hear back from us once we finish sorting through submissions.

If you still haven’t applied to the Karel Rose Scholarship or The Nation Student Writing Fellow position, good news: there is still time to apply! You can pick up an application for the Karel Rose Scholarship at 2111 James (deadline is April 11th). Application requirements and general information for The Nation position can be found here, and if you have any questions you can email studentfellow(@)thenation(.)com with any questions. Deadline for The Nation has been extended to April 7th at 12:00PM.

On April 4th from 11:00-12:15, the Children’s Studies 25th Anniversary Social Justice for Children Inaugural Lecture Series will take place in the SUBO Occidental Room (5th floor). Professor Roni Natov, English Majors’ Counselor, will be a guest speaker. Come by if you can! The reception after the series will be during common hours in the State Lounge (5th floor). RSVP by March 30th. 

Last but not least, stop by Writer’s Circle for creative writing workshops which will help improve your writing! Writer’s Circle meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-1:30 in 2307 Boylan, everyone is welcome.
