Love of my Life
I began watching wrestling in 2002 when I was seven years old and that’s when I knew was going to be forever in love with my favorite wrestler, JOHN CENA.
It hit me like a freight train! I sat back, watched and listened to his music and found myself singing it as enthusiastically as I do today. I listened to my heart beat quicken as I saw this beautiful man in the ring.
I was in awe then and remain in awe fifteen years later.
This is the wrestling love of my life- JOHN CENA.

July 26th, 2009- WWE Night of Champions at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was my first time attending a WWE event and seeing the love of my life in person. I listened as his music lit up the arena and my heart. I was possibly the loudest fourteen year old in the arena and didn’t know how to handle seeing him.
October 6th,2014- WWE Monday Night Raw at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn New York- At nineteen I still thought that he was the best thing since sliced bread. I heard his music and all hell broke loose; the audience listened as I screamed at the top of my lungs. While watching the video of him entering the arena on my old laptop from this momentous occasion, I decided to spare any fellow listeners my loud, screeching annoying voice and found a semi-calmer/quieter video of him entering. Please bare with me as you watch the video.
August 24th, 2015-WWE Monday Night Raw at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn New York- Another WWE Event, another time seeing him in person. As I searched for photos or videos from this event, I grew deeply disappointed because they were gone. I guess they disappeared into the stratosphere of this cruel technological universe. I did know that I would forever remember listening and singing along to his music.
August 21st, 2016- WWE Summerslam at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn New York- This was right after my twenty first birthday and I remembered thinking that seeing him again was one of the best presents ever. I remembered yelling, “My baby, I love you so much John Cena. OMG, I love you” when he entered the ring and yelling “BOOOO” at the end of the match because he didn’t win. This video is extremely embarrassing, but I thought that for listening purposes it belonged.
December 26th, 2016- The Holiday Tour Show at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York- One of my christmas presents was attending this event in its VIP section where I was able to meet two Superstars and get their autographs. Guess, who’d also happened to be returning after a few months hiatus, JOHN CENA. What I didn’t know was that I’d be rocking his gear while attending. I was the happiest twenty-one-year old in the world. You would think that I was a little kid. I wore the hat everywhere even after the event. Though I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t meet him, I was still grateful for his gear.

These two pictures are of me rocking the hat are for aesthetic purposes and because I love him!

March 12th, 2017- WWE Live Road to Wrestlemania at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York- Now I feel like this was the day that the Lord had made and I definitely rejoiced and was glad in it! It has been a week since one of the greatest days of my life. You’ll see why in a few. First, here’s one last video of me fan girling him! My mom may be right in the video, I may need therapy. Sorry, not sorry!
This last video signifies one of the best days of my life! Here’s the moment!
I had no clue that I was going to meet him because this wasn’t a VIP event. I attended the event and was taken backstage at the end of the show where I met the wrestling love of my life. Seriously was one of the best days ever and still can’t believe it.
So I can honestly say that I am Currently Listening to my heart beat faster and faster as he walks towards me, to his voice as he says, “How’s it going?” and to the smile plastered across my face like that seven-year-old that loved him and that twenty-one-year-old that still loves him all while watching the video above over and over.
